Baystay Bed & Breakfast

Baystay B&B is Byron Bay's longest continuously operating B&B, having commenced in 1994. It is a quiet and relaxing Aussie beach house, and only a short stroll from the main beach and town yet far away enough from the hustle and bustle to allow you to wind down and relax. We offer great value.

Your host, John has lived in the area for many years and can guide you on wonderful bush tours in and around town or arrange a myriad of activities for you including bike tours, snorkeling, scuba diving, horse riding, massage, bush walking, dolphin and whale watching, tours to galleries and cafes.

With delightful, comfortable and clean guestrooms, your stay will be relaxing and enjoyable. Fridge, BBQ and cooking facilities available in rooms.

Baystay has a budget annex at 118 Bangalow Rd. (Different Location). The annex is 20 minutes walk to town and 10 minutes walk to Tallow Beach but is clean and very comfortable and self catering for the budget conscious.

This property supports Intrepid Foundation, World Vision, Amnesty International, Greenpeace and numerous local organizations.
Breakfast at the main house is available between 8am and 9am for a small charge or via a tray in your room. Thursdays a 40km bike ride is available for intrepid souls.
 

Located Near

Baystay is 400 metres to town and beach, about a 5 minute walk. Baystay Annex is 1.9 kms to town and a 10 minute walk through the Arakwal National Park to Tallow Beach. A local bus service stops almost in front of the annex.
