Reviews for Cleverdale

My girlfriend and me stayed 3 nights at this lovely place and would have liked to stay much longer. With 4 rooms, a living room a kitchen and a backyard this guesthouse is a tiny jewel in 20 m distance to the beach. Rooms are clean. In there we found a king size bed, a small closet, a free to use safe, the sink and a little makup table with a mirror. Windows are covered with mosquito-nets, the bathroom had a big shower and hot/cold water. Stuff is very friendly and english/german speaking (as the house is run by a german) and always accessible by a phone in the house. As already said, the beach is just a stonethrow away, but once on the island other activities might be of interest, so the guesthouse offeres access to catamarantours and an individual island tour to the usual market price. Supermarkets are in walking distance as is St.Lawrence Gap. The one thing that really botherd me was the "free internet". Althougt the description clearly says "Internet - free of charge" they charged me 10 US Dollars (20 Barbados Dollars) for the Key and I didn't even got a comprehenisble explanation for this. Beside this fact I would come back any time and reccomend this house to anyone interested in good accomodation at the touristic centre of Barbados.
