I booked this stay in December. In the beginning of February I tried to contact the owner of the B&B to find out, if everything was OK with our reservation. Nobody answered my Email and my several phone calls. So I wrote to the Tourist Office in Bruges, if they had information about this B&B and if it still exists. They answered me: "According to our information mentioned "Het Colettientje" has no longer a permission to run a bed and breakfast." I couldn`t believe it. So bedandbreakfastworld.com made a reservation at a B&B that doesn`t exist anymore! We then booked another hostel and during our stay in Bruges, we passed at the house of "Het Colettientje" and it looked as being an empty house. Do not book this!!

The location was perfect, in a quiet street with the centre of Bruges a 5 minute walk away. The welcome from Maria was lovely and we felt at home straight away. The house was full of character and Maria was a charming host with lots of great tips and advise for enjoying our stay. The breakfast was outstanding with homemade jams and fantastic omelettes. We would love to come back again.Overall experience was wonderful!
