Recanto dos Passaros - Lencois

The Pousada lies on the edge of the historic town of Lencois, with great views across the wooded valley. It is set in over a hectare of terraced gardens containing many varieties of mature fruit trees and plants. As you will see from the photographs, we offer accommodation in peaceful and spacious surroundings.

Situated on the edge of town, it is an easy 10 minute walk along cobbled streets to the centre of Lencois where there are very good bars, restaurants, and often bands or other street entertainment.

Originally built about 15 years ago, the Pousada has new owners and has recently undergone a programme of improvement and modernisation.

We offer six double rooms, situated in the grounds each with private bathroom and veranda. We also have a family apartment sleeping 5. There is also plenty of quiet space in the gardens for camping. Breakfast is served in the dining room between 7 and 10am.

We can arrange trekking in the park from 1 day to a week, horse riding, climbing, sight seeing from a car, and much more. The Guides speak English, Portuguese, and many other languages.

If you have to cancel your booking, you must do it at least 48hrs before arrival.

If you book between December 15th and March 15th you will be charged 50% in advance in order to secure your booking (non refundable), you may be contacted by the property requesting the CVV code of the credit card used for this booking.

This also applies if your booking is during a national holiday, New Year´s eve or Carnival.
