Where is Cumbuco ? Cumbuco is a very small fishing village in Brazil and about 30 kilometers north of Fortaleza and belongs to the state of Ceara. The whole town has about 1000 citizens and is the weekend destination for a lot of young people from Fortaleza and from all Brazil because Fortaleza has the all year round climate to attract even visitors from Rio de Janeiro or Sao Paulo. From February till May there is the rainy season but even then you will have days to kite. After 1-3 hours of showers the sky opens again and wind comes back. During this period you should bring bigger kites to make sure to kite as much as possible.
