This important fishing center of the Island of Santa Catarina receives each year a greater number of tourists, attracted by the natural beauty and the friendliness of manezinhos, who treat everyone like old friends. To receive those coming from outside the region with many small hotels and restaurants.
Officially, the beach of Barra da Lagoa has 650m. However, the lack of any geographical feature that separates the beach from Moçambique makes the edge has more than 8km in length, providing long walks on the fine white sand. The sea has gentle waves, allowing surfing scares bathers but not more insecure. This happens because large waves caused by the open sea are curbed by the current Channel. Anyway, a post Lifeguard keeps order on the beach.
Another attraction is the suspension bridge that passes over the Channel Bar. On the other side gives access to Prainha, a small cove surrounded by huge rocks and archaeological sites.
We offer apartments with kitchen fully with utensils, linen and towels, bathroom with hot shower, WiFi, TV, toaster, coffee machine, sun umbrellas and chairs.
