Family-run Guesthouse Slanchevo offers a traditional Bulgarian welcome to guests staying in their countryside home.
Located in the village of Pisanets, 25km east of Russe, the guesthouse enjoys magnificent views of the Beli Lom River and the Rusenski Lom National Park.
Our single story guesthouse has 10 beautifully decorated twin and double rooms, with en-suite bathrooms and a private entrance for every 2 rooms.
We have a dining room to seat up to 30 guests, as well as a fully equipped kitchen. We also have a sunny garden with a playground, a BBQ and panoramic views.
Visitors to Guesthouse Slanchevo enjoy having the opportunity to get into the spirit of rural life, learning about Bulgarian traditions and sampling the local cuisine.
The area surrounding our guesthouse offers some of the finest natural scenery around, with a landscape of rolling hills and meadows, forest and chalk cliffs.
It is home to a vast and varied array of birds, including the eagle and a number of other species of birds of prey. Bears, wild boar and wolves are known to inhabit the forest, and the area also boasts a world-famous UNESCO bat sanctuary.
Guests can try their hand at a number of outdoor pursuits, including swimming, mountain biking, fishing, hunting, climbing and even bungee jumping.
We provide a daily maid service with laundry available on request. Facilities include satellite TV, DVD and WiFi and we offer free parking.
