Villa Badiian

Villa Badiian is a small family owned B&B located in the quiet village of La Campana nestled in the heart of the Elqui Valley. We have 4 rooms for our guests. Two rooms, each for two people with shared bathroom; two rooms with private bathrooms, one for 2 people and the other for 2-6 people. You can relax in the garden and read a book or enjoy our new swimming pool, opening in December 2012. From the decks or the rooftops you can soak up the sun and beautiful views of the valley and surrounding mountains. Here you can hear the sounds of the countryside, birds singing, the wind blowing in the trees, roosters crowing and even a mule and peacock from the valley below.

We serve a generous breakfast which includes special homemade breads like Banana Nut bread. During the day coffee, tea, juices and seasonal fruits are available. If you don't want to go to a restaurant we offer lunch/dinner or "once" (light evening meal) at reasonable prices.

Because of our sunny micro-climate we chose to have a solar hot water heater and have hot water 24hrs a day (with back up just in case) Our days can be sunny and warm to hot and very cool at night, so be sure to have your sunscreen and a hat for the day and a sweater or jacket for the night.

We are happy to give you directions to and suggestions of attractions in the valley. We can also assist you with reservations for various tours.

Located Near

We are located in the quiet village of La Camapana, 0.4km off the international highway, Route 41 between La Serena and Argentina. Just 7 km east of Vicuña., the road leading up to the village is a gravel road running between two vineyards on. The village is quiet with a population of only about 150. At one end of the main boulevard there is a small white church and an old salmon colored wine barrel at the other, a couple of small stores and sometimes traffic is blocked when a herd of sheep or goats are moved from one vineyard to another.
