Welcome to Hostel Polanco, the most economic hostel in the historic center of Cerro Alegre area. A clean and very calm hostel Polanco offers a family environment, where you will feel like at home. With us you can even practice your Spanish!
Our location is perfect for exploring Valparaiso and we assure to treat you as a part of the big family. You are able to enjoy rooms with Cable-TV, a totally equipped kitchen, Internet and WiFi and washing machine/dryer (small extra cost). For you to start touring Valparaiso with energy, we also provide a rich and nourishing breakfast included.
Upon arrival you will receive all the tourist information necessary, including local activities, maps and all the recommendations you might need during your stay!
Twice a week, we offer a FREE WALKING TOUR of Historical Valpara�so areas. The guide will safely take you to the most interesting and beautiful sites of this port city. All you need to do is bring $500 pesos (USD$1) for ascensors . Don't forget to tip the guide! The tour is given in English and Spanish.
On weekend evenings, you can make new friends and have a nice time in our bar-environment hall and backyard.

Hostal Polanco is located few metres from the financial centre, and 5 minutes away from Sotomayor Square (UNESCO AREA). To get here from the bus station, just take any local bus going to ADUANA and then get off in Urriola Street (just ask the driver to leave you there)This trip from the bus station to Urriola st. takes about 15 minutes, Once you're there walk on the street towards the hill side and after 50 metres you will see a big board 'HOSTAL POLANCO'. So that's it! You have found us!!
