Xijiang Full View Guesthouse
Xijiang Full View Guesthouse is set in a traditional wooden house on a hill overlooking Xijiang Qianhu Miao village.
We have 22 guestrooms (19 double, 2 triple and 1 single), all with en-suite bathrooms.
We offer guests a taste of local life with traditional food, wine and song, but we also offer western dishes such as sandwiches, pizza, pancakes and coffee.
Our friendly owner speaks English and can help you make the most of your time in the area, with recommendations about what to see and do.
Xijiang Qianhu Miao village (named for the thousand houses that are found there) is located in the south-east of Guizhou province, 36 kilometres from Kaili.
It is the largest Miao village in the world, with 1265 families living in wooden houses, and its residents still wear the beautiful traditional dress of the area, as well as speaking the local language and eating traditional dishes such as sticky rice and hot and sour fish soup.
There are a large number of festivals in the area, including Chix in Jie (the New Rice Tasting Festival) in July, Miao New Year in October and, in 2010, the Guzang Festival, which takes place every 13 years.
From Kaili or Leishan bus station , you can find the bus to Xijiang .From Xijiang bus station also can find the bus to Kaili or Leishan .
When you arrive Xijiang bus station , walk out the bus station ,turn left , walk along the river , about 300 meters you can see the Xijiang Full View Guesthouse .
Near Xijiang Full View Guesthouse , you visit the Xijiang Museum , Miao culture perform centre , Rice terrace field , Miao market , Old street and so on .
