Directions to La Montaña Ecolodge
The best way to get to us, is from Liberia Intl Airport (LIR). There are numerous international flights landing at, and is only at 50 mins. drive from us. You can either rent a car at the airport or we can arrange a taxi to pick you up and bring you to the hotel (current rate is about US$30 one way).
The other option is to arrive at San Jose Intl Airport (SJO); the drive from there to our Ecolodge takes about 4 hours. And you have to follow the directions to Hacienda Pinilla and Playa Avellanas.
Instead of driving, you can fly with a local airline to Tamarindo airport. From there you can rent a car or we can arrange transportation by taxi to the hotel. The drive takes 20 minutes and the cost is about $20.
From Liberia, drive towards Tamarindo, follow the Hacienda Pinilla/Playa Avellana signs, arrive to San José de Pinilla, turn left, drive 700 mts until the intersection, turn right 3 kms towards the mountain, you will see our signs.
If you drive from Tamarindo, it will take you about 20 minutes, until throught Villareal, following the Hacienda Pinilla/Playa Avellana signs, arrive to San José de Pinilla, turn left, drive 700 mts until the intersection, turn right 3 kms towards the mountain, you will see our signs.
