Reviews for Family Stanos

The Stanos family were very hospitable to us, even shared some family home-made wine in the evenings, and gave us coffee in the morning. The best thing, was having time to spend with Baldo Stanos, as his English is very good and he is extremely entertaining! Also important, our room was very clean and the bedding crisp, clean and white! Baldo was always available to help with anything, and he even woke at 4 am to see us out!! That's hospitality. An issue we had, having stayed in other apartments within Croatia during the week, we were a little disappointed that our 'apartment' didn't have a kitchenette, nor did we have any breakfast (as it is posted on a Bed and Breakfast site!). So, the only complaint would be to change the wording from "Apartment", to "Room for Rent" with ensuite toilette/shower. Also, if you are sensitive at all to cigarette smoke, and if there is inclement weather (needing to be inside), the host smokes regularly and the smoke does rise to the upper rooms. He was always very considerate however, and asked if we minded if he smoked when we were inside sharing his wine.......
