Sklepic Farm Guesthouse

Sklepic Farm is a small, family owned guesthouse. For many years we have been offering accommodation and hospitality to guests on a bed and breakfast basis.Now we have modified a few things and added some new aspects which will make your stay with us enjoyable.

The Guesthouse is situated in traditional panonian style house which is more then hundred years old. We have 20 beds in four and two bed en suite dorms.

Rooms are simple but cozy. The farm has a big patio, fruit and vegetable garden, indore relaxing and eating area with self catering kitchen.

There is free internet, free tee and coffee, our traditional locally sourced breakfast is available for extra fee (3EUR), free bikes (two for now).

There is opportunity to take part in different activities like jam making, fishing and cooking fish stew on a open fire, making rakija and more..

We are situated in village Karanac, one of the best preserved examples of rural architecture in Croatian part of Pannonian plain. Although the increasing number of visitors Karanac has kept it's charm and relaxing atmosphere. There is great tavern with fresh local food, bar and small shop, possibility to ride horses or take a ride on old carriage.

We are 20 km from third largest Croatian city, Osijek. Sombor, Subotica and Pecs are only hour drive away.

Our village is situated on the border of Nature Park Kopacki Rit, wetland of international importance and heaven for birdwatching and fishing.

There is long wine production tradition in the region, there are many paths to explore vineyards and wine cellars to taste wine. Wine from small regional producers are getting more and more attention on the market.
