Customer Reviews for Pansion Victoria
A wonderfully delightful B&B in the heart of a beautiful island. The unit is about a 30 second walk from a beautiful little beach/bay that is almost yours alone up until about the 10 o'clock hour! There are small restaurants and markets within walki distance if you're up for some foot exploration and a few moped rentals nearby if you're not. Passion Victoria is a quaint little place with wonderfully inviting owners and proprietors. The second we arrived our hosts told us not to worry about paying, but to settle our things in our room and join them for a beer in the downstairs patio. The two younger daughters spoke very good English and between the four of us we had a marvelous first night. Our vacation was booked here because Trogir is fairly central and my wife and I rented a car to drive all up and down Croatia exploring the week. Because of this, we did not have much interaction with the hosts from this point on, and that was a shame! They were delightful and should we travel to Croatia again, we would most definitely stay with them again! I can only speak for our room' of course, but I will say this: it could use a ceiling fan. I am a spoiled American who loves his A/C, but have lived in Europe long enough to be used to the utter lack of it in Europe. That being said, it is wonderfully cool outside at night, but there is no breeze and the room stays very warm, especially when your covered up in the sheets trying to hide from the mosquitoes that are biting you from head to toe!! It would have also been nice to put the second "B" in B&B, and offered breakfast. We were out of the house early enough some days that it may not have mattered, but just know, you're getting a bed and no breakfast. Also, this is not a hotel, the owners live there. So know that you are paying to be a guest with them. You may hear them during the night or not see them in the day or something along those lines. Also, they were a very lively bunch singing songs and playing a guitar into the late hours of the night. But this comports with this part of Europe that I know, late to rise, small breakfast, late dinner, late night family hours. I only say any of this to inform the reader and not at all to complain. This is a marvelous place, hospitable hosts, close to a beach, minutes away from the marvelous Trogir old town, and I would stay here again any time!John Campbell , 31-40 years old, from USA ~ 24th Jul 2013
