La Posada del Sueco is a beautiful beach house located in exotic Playas with stunning views over the Pacific Ocean, perfect for a romantic getaway.

Located Near

"La Posada Del Sueco" is located 2 km outside a town called Playas general Villamil in the direction to Posorja. Guayaquil is the nearest large city, about 90 kilometres away and takes about 1 hour by taxi. You can catch one to either Playas, and then take a local taxi to the Km2 via a Data Bellavista. (There is a small sign marking la posada del sueco , the cost is $1). Then you go in to the right and at the next corner turn to the right again. And the second house on the left side you have La posada Del Sueco with the Swedish flag on the roof and a sign.

Taxi: $30-$50 (agree on the price first)

Busses: $2.50
By car or taxi, the trip takes about 1 hour.
If you take the bus, it can take 2.5 hours.
Busses leave every few minutes from Guayaquil bus station (which is conveniently located across the street from the airport).

Dolphin watching:
Near to Playas (just 14 km) is located Puerto El Morro, where the adventure with dolphins is starting... This is a little town next to a special bay where these marvellous animals learned how to share with humans. They usually escort, as a special company, the small boats sailing on this sweet/salty water. You can also rent these boats to go some place called Bird Island, and in the way you can also ask for sport fishing.

Whale watching:
From June to August, the humpback whales chose the Ecuadorian coast to do a special dance of love, and to conquer the female and complete the reproduction circle. Also the humpback babies get birth here, and learn how to swim next to the mother. It's possible for the tourist to take special tours from Playas to go further out on the ocean and be part of this amazing nature's miracle.
