Reviews for The Cottage B&B

We needed something to stay the night before our plane left from Liverpool airport, and for that this B&B is perfectly situated. It's hardly a 10 minutes' drive to get there. There are free parking spaces available on the grounds of the B&B. We were very pleased with the beautiful room we got in The Cottage, complete with a very modern ensuite bathroom. Breakfast was delicious, too. I'd imagine it would be unsuitable, though, for people allergic to animal hair, as there are a dog, several cats and a bird in the house. It was also quite hard to find when we arrived after dark because there is no sign indicating The Cottage B&B. We literally drove around the block 4 times, asking three policemen who were in the road but had never heard of the place. Don't trust google maps on this one - it's on the opposite side of the road and further down (right where there's a sign saying "Hale Village") and you will have to go all the way up the driveway to find the small sign that says it's a B&B. However, it is well worth the search. I could imagine staying there for more than just the one night. For travellers who are looking for a place to stay close to the airport this is simply perfect.
