St. Athans

Located in the centre of London St. Athans is a family-run guesthouse in a great location close to many of London's top attractions including the British Museum, University of London and the New British Library. Our neighbourhood of Bloomsbury features a range of authentic Georgian buildings dating back almost 200 years- our building has retained many of its original features creating a unique character to the guesthouse.

St. Athans has been in the Geyer family since 1964 and we pride ourselves in offering the highest standards of service while still offering great value for money. The atmosphere in the guesthouse lends itself perfectly to those looking for a relaxing stay in London in a traditional building with a great family environment.

As we are a 200 year old Georgian building all guestrooms have been individually decorated to ensure the property's charm is as authentic as possible. All guestrooms are impeccably clean and offer a home-from-home ambiance. We offer a range of room types, with rooms also available on the ground floor for those with movement difficulties. However as we are a traditional Georgian townhouse we are not wheelchair accessible/friendly as we have a number of steps, stairs and narrow corridors which are unavoidable features of the house. If it is the case that we are unsuitable to accommodate your mobility needs we can recommend alternative properties we may suit your requirements.

Breakfast is served daily from 8am-9.30am on weekdays and 8.30am-10am on weekends. Our full English cooked breakfast is proudly one of the best breakfasts in town and is sure to set up any guests for whatever their day in London may take them. Menu options include a range of beverages such as juices, teas and coffee while food options include cereals, sausages, bacon, eggs as well as toast complete with a range of jams and preserves.

As mentioned already our location means we are within walking distance of a range of the city's top attractions such as museums, the National Library and more. Other top attractions such as Madam Tausaud's, the West End and Theatreland are all located just a short bus journey from us here- meaning some of London's top nightspots are right on your doorstep when staying here.
