The White House is a charming Grade II listed manor house dating back to the 15th century. Set amid extensive gardens it offers a peaceful atmosphere along with luxury accommodation near Stansted Airport.
Each room at the White House has been lovingly restored by owners Linda and Mike, and boasts a range of conveniences including wireless internet access, a flatscreen television, a DVD player and a hospitality trays. Sumptuous beds are dressed in Egyptian cotton, while the elegant en-suite bathrooms feature Victorian roll-top baths, power showers, complimentary toiletries and fluffy bathrobes.
A tempting full English breakfast is served up every morning between 8am and 10am and is included in the rates. A buffet breakfast is provided for guests with early departures.
The White House has ample parking space for guests, with long-term parking available for just £3 per day - perfect for guests travelling through Stansted Airport. Airport transfers can also be arranged, and a taxi to the terminal costs around £7.50.
Thanks to its outstanding facilities and excellent hospitality, the White House received 4 stars by the AA and the prestigious Silver Award from Enjoy England. It was also highly recommended by the esteemed Johansens Guide.
