B&B The Annex

Located within walking distance of the city centre in Bahir Dar B&B The Annex offers nice guest house style accommodation close to Lake Tana. Guests choosing to stay here will enjoy the garden and the property's authentic Ethiopian decor and atmosphere.

The small B&B The Annex offers four guest rooms for guests to choose from; the house can accommodation a maximum of nine guests at a time in a family-friendly environment. Guests can choose to either rent the entire property or individual rooms.

Breakfast is included in the rates with other meals available upon request. Breakfast menu options feature western style dishes. You will take it in the garden.

As mentioned already we are very conveniently located within walking to the town centre. For those travelling to the city by bus we are located within walking distance of the bus station, while for those coming from the airport, airport transfers can be arranged upon request.



Three diffferent parts of the house are available:
Standard room: 1 double room ensuite (in the room)
Basic room: 1 double room ensuite (outside the house), possible to organise it as twin with an extra bed.
Triple or family room: 2 communicating rooms with a bathroom inside (1 double bed and 2 bunk beds). Number of guests possible: 2 - 4 (eventually 5 with an extra bed).

For those looking to further explore Ethiopia some cities of interest located close to Bahir Dar include Gondar to the north (120km) and Addis Abeba to the south (600km).

Located Near

B&B The Annex is located in Kebele 3, which is just behind the Mulualem Cultural Center. It's a residential area with either paved roads or just basic roads (no asphalt). The house is just 100 meters after the Marie Stopes Clinic or the UNICEF Guesthouse, on the corner right (N°151). The small taxis will not know us but will know one of those 2 places. We'll send you a map after the booking.
