Barefoot Lodge
The Barefoot Lodge lies on the secluded volcanic island of Drawaqa, in the Southern Yasawa Islands of Fiji. The stunning coral gardens right off the beach are some of the best in Fiji.
Experience a new adventure every day! Swim with manta rays, snorkel, trek overland, visit islands and traditional villages, go fishing, laze on deck or gain a few tips on tall ship sailing. Then return each evening to the Barefoot Lodge where sunset swims, volleyball matches, night-fishing tours, star-gazing, Fijian 'lovo' feasts and nightly entertainment are all part of the fun!
All meals, activities and accommodation are included in the price!
The Barefoot Lodge offers stunning coral gardens right off the beach where you can snorkel, kayak and swim with the local manta rays or spend a few lazy hours alternating between the hammock and lagoon. Equipment hire is free for snorkelling and kayaking!
The accommodation comprises of twenty twin-share waterfront bures (huts) built and thatched in traditional style by local villagers. Each bure has two single beds which can be pushed together if you prefer. Linen is supplied but please BYO towel. The showers and toilets are communal with cool fresh water. All meals at the Lodge are prepared for you and are included in the nightly rate.
The Lodge has a low-impact environmental policy. Where possible our aim is to preserve the natural environment, maintain an authentic Fijian experience and replace 21st Century noise with the silence of the stars. The Barefoot Lodge operates on very limited power sources. Energy efficient systems are used to blend with the natural environment.
