Close to Bergerac (about 30km) in the heart of the Dordogne region, this beautiful B&B/Chambre D'Hote in the heart of South West France is set within 2 acres of parkland and orchards surrounded by rolling countryside.
Just 2 km from the medieval bastide town of Miramont de Guyenne, boasting several lovely restaurants and bars in which to sample the wonderful food and wine of the area and listen to live music in the town square.
Experience the weekly markets, where you can discover local produce such as foie gras, truffles, confit de canard, oysters, and many famous French wines including Monbazillac, Duras and St Emilion to name but a few.
Further afield, Bordeaux, Agen, Perigueux and many other places of interest, in the Lot, Garonne,and Dordogne valleys are all accessible day trips.
Visit the Atlantic Coast with its beautiful seaside resorts of Arcachon and the Bay of Biscarosse both just 1 hour away by car,and also the vineyards of Bordeaux, and the dramatic scenery of the Dordogne.
We are fortunate to be served by Bergerac airport, just 30 mins from Le Pontet,with the low cost airline Ryan Air. Bordeaux airport is 1 hour - 30 Mins, Brive airport 1 hour and Toulouse just 2 hours away.

Take the N21 from Bergerac Airport and take the 3rd exit at the 1st roundabout. Continue on the N21 to the 2nd roundabout and take the 3rd exit on to the D933; Continue on this road for 20 minutes through the village of Eymet until you reach Miramont De Guyenne. At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto the D933 towards Marmande. Continue for approximately 2 km passing the Netto and Lidl supermarkets and look for LE PONTET on your left at the top of the hill.
