Our historic building dates back to 1870 and has been fully renovated to provide modern, well-equipped guest rooms. Decorated in soothing tones, each of our 17 rooms features an en-suite bathroom, flatscreen TV and WiFi.

We have rooms to sleep up to four people - perfect for family holidays. Breakfast is served in our charming breakfast room and we also have a lovely indoor flower garden as well as meeting facilities.

Located in a quiet street near the city centre, just 150m from St Jean Station, the Aquitane Hotel is ideally situated for discovering everything Bordeaux has to offer, including cathedrals, basilicas and museums. We are also just an hour from the beautiful beaches in Lacanau and Arcachon, as well as the vineyards and chateaux of Saint Emilion and around. Great bars and restaurants can be found nearby.

The hotel’s location allows you, to explore the city center of Bordeaux newly classified by UNESCO, and visit its many historical sites, cathedrals, basilicas, museums by foot or by tram. You can access to the beautiful stretches of beaches in Lacanau and Arcachon easily (1 hour by car), or Saint Emilion and the wine route where you can visit the great castles and sample the best Bordeaux grand crus.
