Domaine St George is a 17th century former winemaker's house set in a quiet location in rolling vineyards just outside the lively market town of Limoux. Each bedroom is individually furnished to a very high standard with traditional French furniture in every room.
All bedrooms are en-suite with tea & coffee facilities and guests have the use of a summer kitchen as well as a gas BBQ.
In good summer weather, we serve our delicious breakfast in the patio. It consists of fresh juice, freshly baked local bread and croissants, homemade jams, eggs from our hens and other local food products.
Domaine de St George has been extensively renovated but has retained many of its' original and charming features, for example the exposed beams in many of the ceilings.
The house features many items of traditional French furniture.
We are able to accommodate a maximum of 10 guests. The house is centrally heated for winter visitors

Within easy driving distances there are numerous attractions to suit all interests. These include the famous walled city of Carcassonne (20km), the Canal du Midi, numerous Cathar castles, Rennes le Chateau with its unsolved mystery, canoeing on the Aude and a little further away the long sandy beaches of the Mediterranean.
