Floating on the untroubled waters of the famous Canal du Midi, Péniche Mirage is a luxurious houseboat B&B located just minutes away from the medieval city of Carcassonne.
Pascal and Mimi invite you to discover the pleasures of life on the water in their beautifully-appointed houseboat.
Set down your luggage in one of our tastefully decorated cabins before heading up on deck to relax in our jacuzzi and enjoy the sunshine.
The three cabins, Touareg, Oasis and Sahara, are all fully equipped with private bathrooms and air conditioning, and a plentiful breakfast is served in the dining room or on the bridge.
In the evening, after a full day spent enjoying the countryside and the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Carcassone, you can curl up in the living room on our wide leather sofas and watch the river bank go by through the bronze portholes, or unwind with a traditional Shiatsu massage.
Champagne and flowers can be provided on request for special occasions.

Located in the heart of the vineyards, 5 km away from Carcasonne downtown, at the bottom of an artwork and a lock. Arriving from Toulouse, exit in Bram and then take the Carcassonne direction, by going in the hamlet Herminis, take the first road on the left, then straight until the lock. Arriving from Narbonne, exit direction Salvaza Airport, take the direction Foix (green guidepost), then by going in the hamlet Herminis, take the second road on the right direction Herminis, then straight until the lock.
