Welcome to Celtic Inn France, a charming 16th century farmhouse B&B offering comfortable accommodation amid peaceful surroundings on the west coast of France. Operated by a friendly Irish family in a quiet country village, our cosy bed and breakfast introduces you to typical French living with an Irish twist.
Celtic Inn France is set amid two and a half acres of carefully tended grounds, with a pristine swimming pool, an orchard and a butterfly. Our attractive guest rooms have been completely refurbished to bring you the comforts of modern living with all the traditional charm of our period property. All rooms are en-suite and feature WiFi and tea/coffee-making facilities. Family rooms are available.
A complimentary continental breakfast can be enjoyed in our lovely dining room or outside on the terrace, overlooking the gardens. All food is locally sourced, with croissants, baguettes and pastries coming from the village boulangerie, honey and cheese coming from the farmer's market and eggs coming fresh from our very own hens. Evening meals are also available and we are happy to cater to special dietary requirements - just let us know in advance.
The area around Celtic Inn France boasts a wide variety of historic and cultural attractions, as well as outdoor activities including golf, fishing, rock climbing, cycling, sailing, canoeing and horse riding. We are just 30 minutes from Mervent, with its national park, zoo and amusement park, and an hour from some great beaches. We can organize transfers to the airport or ferry port.
