La Maison des Grands Bambous in the Cognac region is a peaceful 200 year old house with luxurious bed rooms for a truly comfortable holiday.
Treat yourself to our quaint surroundings, heated swimming pool, jacuzzi and possible diners made from local produce or fruits and vegetable from our garden.
Our rooms are very comfortable, with pretty furnishings, great mattresses, tea and coffee making facilities, hair drier, alarm clock etc.
Breakfast is included and is composed of freshly squeezed orange or grapefruit juice, hard boiled eggs, delicious yogurt, freshly baked bread and tea or coffee.
Diner can be prepared if you notify us before 10 am of the same day. We can also cater for allergy sufferers, please advise us.
You will be able to enjoy the local golf courses, walking and cycling tracks, and the mussel market in Marennes,-Ile d'Oléron and other delightful local markets.
La Maison des Grands Bambous is also perfectly located for visiting Cognac or Jarnac distilleries and the many other local drink businesses.
Car is essential.
The Beautiful sea side locations of Royan, Île de Ré, La Rochelle and Fouras are about 1 hour driving away.
