David and Totties farmhouse is situated on the side of a mountain overlooking the lovely village of Montory in the Basque region of South West France. The view from all the windows in the house is stunning. They overlook the valley below and in the distance the Pyrenean mountains. Rooms are all ensuite and have Tea and coffee making facilities and free Wifi.

The area offers amazing walks, mountaineering, white water rafting, cycling, skiing and much more. We will be pleased to help arrange any of the local activities

We offer 3 bedrooms. A large twin bedded room with bath. A double room with shower. And a deluxe very large double with king size four poster bed, large ensuite with bath and shower and a private balcony with beautiful views.


Maison Paillet also has a large area for relaxing, reading, watching television or playing games all in front of a large fire. Beautiful mountain walks and biking are right on the door step and all mountain activities can be arranged near by.

We are situated in the countryside with no public transport so a car is essential. We can offer evening meals for 15 euros per person which must be booked prior to arrival or just 5 minutes away is a local auberge which serves food with an a'la carte menu or set menus.

Situated 1 hour from the historic city of Pau and 1 hour and 10 mins from Pau airport. (Cityjet, Airfrance and Flybe fly to Pau). Biarritz is about 1 hour and 45 mins away and also has an airport. (Ryanair and Easyjet fly to Biarritz) The religious town of Lourdes is about 1 hour and 30 mins away. Many airlines fly to Lourdes airport.
