Olive Tree Apartments were completed and opened in 2002.The open plan apartments are equipped and furnished to a high standard with traditional Cretan and individual touches. All have either sea or mountain views and separate balcony or terrace with patio furniture.

The Apartments are set amongst the olive groves of the traditional Greek village of Kaliviani Kissamos which is situated in a quiet rural area of North West Crete 6km from the busier seaside and agricultural town of Kastelli Kissamos and 3km from the main seaport which has regular ferry connections to mainland Greece and also seasonal daily boat excursions to Balos and Gramvousa. They are a 15 minute stroll (1km) to the sea and 10km from the fabulous beach of Falassarna. The village of Kaliviani has two restaurants and two cafenions and is ideally situated to explore the beautiful countryside, fantastic beaches and historical sites of Western Crete either by car or as a walker. It is the last village on the base of the Gramvousa peninsular en route to the fanatastic lagoon of Balos. The nearby working town of Kastelli Kissamos has many facilities without being too touristy. It boasts a small fishing harbour, larger seaport served by ferries, tavernas, bars and cafes, shops, banks, post office, car and bike hire, beaches, a promenade by the sea, museum and a bus station with services to local villages and the beautiful Venetian harbour town of Chania 37km away.
