Jocotenango is the calm and livable part of the historic center. Many local artists live in the neighborhood. Some next door. We are near the famous Mapa en Relieve and less famous landmarks that are even more worthwhile. We are two blocks from Parque Moraza¡n and four from Parque San Sebastian. Two blocks away is the new sixth avenue with broad sidewalks and a bike path that leads to the city's main square (about 7 blocks away -- blocks in guatemala are 100 meters or 300 feet long).
