The Queen loves her horseracing and has even had a few race horses run in major races over the years. To mark her Diamond Jubilee she has one running in the Diamond Jubilee Coronation Cup at Epsom Derby on Saturday June 2nd. This prestigious racing event will mark the start of the Jubilee Weekend celebrations so make your way to the Epsom Downs to check out the Royal Family, some impressive hats and you may even have a few winners.

Regent Street

Following on from last year's Royal Wedding and the popularity of the giant bunting along Regent Street, this fun decoration will be resurrected for the Diamond Jubilee. These giant Union Jacks will hang from buildings and lampposts all across the popular Regent Street. The street is a tourist spot in itself and also one of the most popular shopping spots in the city. Don't forget to check it out for The Central Weekend.

Hyde Park

The Jubilee Family Festival takes place in Hyde Park on both the Saturday and Sunday of Jubilee Weekend 2012. This runs from 10.30am to 7.30pm and promises to be a great day out for all the family, especially if the weather is nice.
