There is the mountain behind the compound that is a habitat for the remaining mountain gorillas that are still around. It sits in the best part of the village in terms of accessibility and tranquility.
One will have a taste of the Malinke/Mandingo culture and the everyday life of the people.
Due to local sensitivities alcohol is not served. Apart from this the locals are very friendly and always willing to help. There is a mountain right behind the house that is a habitat to mountain gorillas.
