Smáhýsi Cottages are the best way to stay when visitng North West Iceland.
Each cottage can sleep upto 5 people and have their own Living Room complete with sofa and tv, Dining Room with table and chairs, Kitchen with all utensils and natural geothermal power shower in the Bathroom!
Sleeping comes curtsey of a 3 man bunk bed (double below and single above) and a 2 man sofa bed, perfect for friends or family to share.
So if you want to be self-sufficient, flexible and independent on your travels, but have a comfort level above a tent without the cost of a hostel or hotel Smáhýsi Cottages are the way to go!

Things To Note
The chalets are smoke and pet free buildings, although both are allowed outside of the chalets themselves.
It is expected that guests leave the chalets in the same cleanliness and condition as entered upon. Guests can pay an extra charge for chalet cleaning.
Any cleaning or repairs needed after use by a guest will be charged on to the last occupant. Any comments or observations of the condition of chalet should be immediately passed on to the contact person for the chalets.
