Blaklukka Guesthouse

Blaklukka, which in Icelandic means Bluebell, is a family run guesthouse in Reykjavi­k. The guesthouse is small with merely 3 rooms. The rooms share access to bath/shower as well as fully equipped kitchen where guests can make their meals. All rooms include made up beds and towels.

The house itself is also the family home of the owners. They live upstairs whilst the guesthouse is located on the groundfloor. Their aim is to offer affordable and welcoming accommodation in Reykjavik

The neighbourhood is quiet and safe. Three playgrounds in the close vicinity, along with cosy walking paths, make the location highly suitable for families. The closest supermarket is within 3 min walking distance and right next door is Iceland's best ice cream store.

The check-in times are after 14:00 and the check-out is at 11:00. Since we live upstairs guests can check in at any time after 14:00.

Bláklukka is located at a comfortable 30-40min walking distance from downtown. Bus 14 does also stop in front of the guesthouse which takes guests to the downtown area in 10 minutes. The bus also goes to Iceland's largest geothermal swimming pool.

Guests interested in shopping can look forward to visiting Reykjavi­k's largest shopping mall which is within 10 minutes walking distance from the guesthouse.
