Honestly, my stay here couldn't have been any better. As well as being clean, warm, comfortable and close to the bus terminal and the city, Igdlo guesthouse had something else that you don't always find. It felt homely. I felt like I was staying with family. Ingimar, one of the brothers who runs the guesthouse could not have been more friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here if you are planning a trip to Reykjavik with the option of self catering. I was travelling alone and yet I never felt lonely as there was always people coming and going. It definitely gets the thumbs up from me.
