By Air Goa is connected several times a day by air from Bombay, Delhi, Hyderabad, Calcutta, Bangalore, Madras, Cochin, Calicut. Internationally you can fly on scheduled airlines from Dubai, Kuwait, Colombo. During the season, there are several weekly flights from the UK, Switzerland, Holland and Scandinavia. The following Airlines fly to Goa. New routes keep getting added so it's best to get on to their websites to see where they fly to or from. Spice Jet: from Bombay and Delhi - http://www.spicejet.com/ Kingfisher Airlines flies from Bangalore, Bombay and Delhi http://www.flykingfisher.com/ Discounter Go Air flies from Bombay - http://www.goair.in/ Jet Airways: Full service airline flies from Bombay, Bangalore - http://www.jetairways.com/ Jetlite Indigo from Calcutta and Bombay Indian Airlines: from Madras, Bombay, Pune, Bangalore, Cochin and Calicut http://www.indian-airlines.nic.in/ For discounts on regular fares: http://www.yatra.com/, http://www.makemytrip.com/ , http://www.cleartrip.com/ , http://www.travelguru.com/ From the UK, your travel agent should be able to get you intercontinental fares, and may also be able to buy your domestic tickets, but its cheaper to buy online from the above low cost airlines. For charter tickets best is to try your local travel agent. One agent that always goes out of his way for good fares and can do charter and scheduled is Bobby at Benz Travel (020) 73237 310 http://www.benztravel.co.uk/ By Train and Road With the new Konkan Railway line recently completed, this is another exciting way to get to Goa and go beyond towards the south. There is the Rajdhani Express (26 hrs) that operates only on Saturdays and Sundays and one more daily train (a bit slower) from Delhi to Goa, and the overnight Konkan Express daily from Bombay. From Cochin there is the daily Netravati Express and the Rajkot-Trivandrum Express. Unfortunately, although the countryside it passes through is spectacular and some say the construction of the line was a marvel of engineering, the trains are regularly late. Anyway if you do choose this means, then best is to get off at Tivim station, if the train stops there (the Rajdhani does not). From there the property is only 30 minutes drive. Otherwise you will have to go 45' further to Margao. The Konkan Railway Website http://www.konkanrailway.com/ Indian Railways http://www.indianrail.gov.in/ You can also come by road, though I would not recommend that (17 hours by bus from Bombay to Goa). Obviously the best means of transport from the Airport or Station is by car. If you let us know in advance of your plans we will have you picked up. From the Airport it should cost you around Rs. 750, from Tivim Rs. 350, and from Margao station around Rs. 800.
