Directions to Houseboat Young Bombay

Our houseboat floats in the middle of the Dal Lake (please notice - the boat is not on the shore but in the middle of the lake, which guarantees excellent views, additional security and piece of mind. We offer FREE transportation from the airport or bus terminal. If you would like to take advantage of the transportation please email or call us with your travel and contact details. To arrive by taxi or car please go to Ghat 9 on Dal Lake, just opposite of the New Park Hotel. From the ghat (also known as an embarkment or jetty), take a shikara (boat taxi) and ask for Young Bombay houseboat. Plain shikaras shold cost 10 Rupees by person, and the colourful traditionally decorated shikaras - 20 Rupees per person, please negotiate the price beforehand and do not pay more! If you have any problems, please do not hesitate to call us - it is a local fixed line number (so connection rates even from your mobile phone are low).
