We have fridge, but we also put earthenware pot in your room. You fill it up with water and place your water bottle inside. I litre size. Evaporation on outside of pot cools the water inside. This is traditional method in all tropical areas in the world. Even if you don't join us, use the method, it works.

We have got the machines which silences mosquitoes. It does it gently in a non-violent way, and avoids the scream in your ear, and unsightly mossie splatters on our beautiful

paintworks. Don't worry, I guarantee that it won't make any smoke, fire or noise or any leakage at all. It is a little container that plugs in to the plug socket. It is very useful and helpful. It is commonly available, and even if you don't stay with us, you should consider getting one for mosquito places, having electric plug socket.

Most people eat in the many acceptable cafes and restaurants in town.

There is wonderful modern Ice Cream parlour on the main street.

With menu, we can arrange delivery of meals to your room, snacks or drinks from dependable, reasonable and reputable restaurants, normally up to some time after 9.

You may notice that Indians go to bed, normally by 10.30.

This is so we can be about our business from as early as 5am when the day is cool and comfortable. People can be surprised at how busy the prayer ghats and the centre of town are at 5.30am.

Remember that our house is very close to the famous Golden Temple, Kashi Vishwanath temple and the Kali Temple , and that is why our street alleyway ( lane) name is Kalika Gali.
Ring us when you arrive at the railway station and we can go and pick you up from there in about 20 minutes. In the meantime you can wait for us nearby the tourist Information Center

(c) Babatpur Airport to Varanasi city centre by Car Rs 800 ( by tuk-tuk " 3 wheeler" Rs 500)

It is important that you send us your TRAIN NUMBER , TRAIN NAME, COACH AND BERTH NUMBER, NAME OF CITY WHERE YOUR TRAIN IS DEPARTING FROM, AND ARRIVAL TIME AT VARANASI JN OR MUGHALSARAI JN with your email only if you are opting for pickup service.

For airport pickup, please send us your FLIGHT NAME AND COMPANY NAME, FLIGHT NUMBER AND ARRIVAL TIME AT BABATPUR AIRPORT with your email only if you are opting for pickup service.

If you do not have your exact train detail and you are thinking to find us on you own, you can easily call us from the railway station @ Rs 2/minute ONLY from any local STD-ISD-PCO sign(telephone booth) shops. You do not even need a cell or mobile phone for this. Just make a correct note of our phone numbers from this website.

We usually recommend our guest to wait at the famous TOURIST INFORMATION CENTER AND THE INQUIRY OFFICE at the main ENTRANCE HALL nearby the PLATFORM OR TRACK NO. 1 OF VARANASI JUNCTION STATION " NOT THE MUGHALSARAI STATION " and call us from the TELEPHONE BOOTH (PCO) NEXT TO IT , ask the guy at the shop to help you if you are having problem dialing the telephone number .

BUT WE ALWAYS RECOMMEND YOU TO ORGANIZE THE PICKUP SERVICE WITH US TO AVOID ALL THE HASSLES AS THE CITY IS FULL OF MAZE AND TWISTY ALLEYWAYS AND THE LOCALS WHO WILL ALWAYS CONFUSE YOU BY TAKING YOU TO THE OTHER HOTELS FOR THEIR HIGH COMMISSION.
THE LOCAL DRIVERS AT THE STATION WHO ARE NOT OUR DRIVER CAN ALSO TELL YOU THAT WE ARE FULL, UNAVAILABLE, CLOSED ETC , HENCE YOU SHOULD STAY IN THEIR BEST HOTEL , THAT IS ALL SCAM .
