We are a small private resort based on the idyllic tropical island of Gili Meno in Lombok, Indonesia. We are a mix of both Irish and Indonesian cultures, and have lived and worked in Indonesia for nearly a decade now. I have been teaching and managing the dive company here over the time, and it has been wonderful.
The island has changed slowly from having no electricity and dinner by candlelight was the only option, to having a few bars and plenty of restaurants with busier evenings without changing the atmosphere at all.
Our aim is to assist our customers/friends to relax and unwind in a little bit
Set in a private tropical garden are our 10 luxury bungalows. The bungalows have ensuite bathrooms and fresh “Hot” water showers, each have a private balcony and are all finished in tile and natural stone. All rooms have a beautiful ‘Garden View’.
One of the easiest ways is to fly from Bali to Praya International Airport in South Lombok. On arrival in Praya, take an airport taxi to Bangsal harbour (1 hr and 30 minutes). From Bangsal harbour, you can take the 2pm local public boat to Gili Meno (about 30 minutes across). At Bangsal, make sure you go into the harbour office to purchase your ticket there are many touts outside who will attempt to get unsuspecting guests to pay crazy charter prices to the islands.
