Alverna House is a beautiful, modern and spacious family home offering bed and breakfast accommodation in Athlone.
Our large guest rooms are all en-suite and well-equipped with TV, DVD and tea/coffee-making facilities. Full disabled facilities are available, and an extra person can be accommodated for a charge of €35.
A full Irish breakfast is included in the rates and served up along with continental options in our attractive dining room. Guests at Alverna House also have access to the garden and a TV and games room with a full-sized pool table.
Alverna House is located on the outskirts of Athlone Town, on the border between County Roscommon and County Westmeath. Sports fans will find themselves within easy reach of Athlone Golf Club, Local GAA Club and Lough Ree for boating activities. There are also bars, restaurants and shops nearby, as well as the Hodson Bay Hotel.
We have plenty of off-road parking available.
