Eilis welcomes you to Sea Breeze Guesthouse- her family home and comfortable B&B accommodation. Guests are welcomed to the property by tea and homemade cake served in the conservatory- where immediately they can relax and enjoy the views of the sea, islands, landscape and the castle.

Here at Sea Breeze B&B we offer six guest bedrooms each equipped with tea/coffee making facilities and hairdryers. Four of the guest rooms feature ensuite facilities while the other two share a bathroom. All rooms are non-smoking.

Cahersiveen features over 1,500 archaeological sites including ring forts and rock art and the Sea Breeze Guesthouse is only 2km from the car ferry to Valentia Island and the boats to the historic Skellig islands- making us the ideal choice for would be historians looking to explore the area. For those looking for other activities the area offers and ideal location for fishing, scubadiving, cycling, the Ring of Kerry and much more. Some of Eilis' day trip recommendations: 1.. Boat trip to the Skellig Islands to experience the historical monastic settlement and view the large number of sea birds such as Puffins and Gannets. 2.. Hike one of the local walks and experience the green natural lush scenery of the Kerry ways. Some of the walks include; Benetee loop walk, Geokaun Mountain and Fogher cliffs, Bray Head Valentia Island, Derrynane Mass Path walk, Cahersiveen town walk, and James Casey's daily guided archaeological walk to include Leacanabuile stone fort, Cahergal stone fort and Ballycarbery castle. 3.. Explore Valentia Island that includes Tetrapod trackway from the Davenonian period, Slate quarry and grotto, Glanleam house, Skellig experience and the local heritage centre. 4.. Tour the Skellig ring (45km) by car or hire a bicycle to do so. You won't be disappointed with the landscape. A delightful trail off the tourist trail. 5.. Take the Ring of Kerry (217KM) route; a panoramic drive through some of Kerry and Irelands most magical scenery through the Iveragh Peninsula. The Ring is a continuous delight. 6.. Take the road from Cahersiveen through Ballaugh Oisin to Glencar and admire the quiet, natural and remote beautiful landscapes. 7.. And many more.
