Errisbeg Lodge, our informal Irish Home is spectacularly set amid Private, spacious Wildflower Gardens, on the slopes of Errisbeg Mountain and overlooks numerous off-shore Islands, and the magnificent Atlantic Beaches of Gurteen & Dog's Bay.
Errisbeg Lodge - named after Errisbeg Mountain in our Back Yard - is the perfect location where you can Paint, Photograph, Write, Walk, Hike, Bike, Revitalise & really Get-Away-from-it-All.
Enjoy Early Morning Beach Walks before Breakfast and watch the sunrise; or Evening Mountain Walks on Errisbeg and watch the Sunset. Daylight stretches till 11 pm or later in Spring & Early Summer!
Roundstone has been the location for several Movies - including 'The Mackintosh Man' starring Paul Newman, 'Into the West' & more recently 'The Matchmaker' and Deux Jours a Tuer.
You'll find an excellent variety of Restaurants (including Seafood), Pubs, Galleries, as well as Food stores,
Gas Station, Laundry service, ATM, Internet Cafe. Renowned Cartographer, Environmentalist & Writer Tim Robinson has his Folding Landscapes Studio and Publishing House here.
No visit to the area is complete without also exploring the local Craft Centre
- where you'll see local Craftspeople at work - Ceramics, Jewellery, etc.
You'll also find Roundstone Music & Craft Shop - Bodhrans, Tin Whistles,CDs, Books, Coffee & Craft Shop - where Malachy Kearns makes the famous drums for Riverdance.

Coming from Galway, take the N59 road heading West towards Clifden, then take the R341 to Roundstone.
Coming from Westport, take the N59 south to Clifden, drive through Clifden taking the R341 through Ballyconnelly and on towards Roundstone.
