Garnish House is uniquely set, only 5 minutes from Cork city centre, opposite the famous University College Cork From town centre, turn into Washington street/Western road then pass River Lee Hotel to your left. Garnish House is on the right hand side 150 meters further on Using a GPS, we suggest to enter the address “Lancaster Quay 1″ and keep on driving for approx. 400m. From Railway station: Bus No.205 Arriving at the train station; there are 3 options to get to Garnish House: You either enjoy a lovely 30-40 minute walk from one side of the city centre to the other or take a taxi (approx. 8.-14.- euro). The 3rd option, Bus No.205 from right outside the train station (1.80 euro pp) every 15-30 minutes. Just ask the bus driver to point out the bus stop closest to Garnish House (past the River Lee Hotel). From Bus Station: Bus No.205 & 208 3 options again: A lovely 20-25minute walk through the city centre or a taxi (approx. 8-10.- euro). The 3rd option, Bus No.205 or 208 every 15-30 minutes from around the bus station. Get off at the bus stop right after the River Lee Hotel (the Bus driver would advise you) and you will find us within 100m right next to the intersection (opposite the University College Gates). From Airport: There is a Taxi rank located outside the main terminal building. The cost from Cork Airport to Western Road is approximately between 16.- -€ 22.00. Alternatively, every 30min. Bus to City Centre (approx. 5.-) Coordinates for GPS / Sat Nav: Latitude = 51.8957, Longitude = -8.4886 Lat = 51 degrees, 53.7 minutes North (N51.53.45) Long = 8 degrees, 29.3 minutes West (W 8.29.18) The location is an ideal base for futher exploration into the celebrated south west of Ireland, including Blarney, Cobh, Kinsale and Killarney.
