The Hannon Family welcome you to Ardsollus Farm, their family home for over 200 years. Combining historic charm with modern comfort, our 120 acre property won the National Farmhouse Award in 2002 and is located just 15 minutes from Shannon Airport.

Set overlooking Dromoland Estate, the current owners of Ardsollus Farm are the fifth generation to have lived and worked on the property, a beef farm with friendly horses and dogs. A warm welcome awaits you along with comfortable accommodation in our cosy en-suite rooms.

We have ground floor accommodation for guests with reduced mobility, as well as facilities including a TV room, a dining room, a sitting room and a sun lounge. Private parking and free wireless internet access are also available.

'Ardsollus' translates from Gaelic as 'Highlight', and refers to a point on the river that runs along the south boundary of the farm which was safe for horse-drawn carriages to cross. Today's farm makes the ideal place to experience traditional Irish hospitality along with some of County Clare's most famous sights, with the Burren, the Cliffs of Moher and Bunratty Castle all within easy reach.
