St Judes

St Judes is an elegantly restored 1920's B&B with a long tradition of welcoming guests. Family-run, it offers luxurious four-star accommodation and excellent cuisine in a peaceful and tranquil setting.

Our spacious guest bedrooms have been individually furnished and tastefully decorated to the highest standard. All the rooms at St Judes are en-suite with power showers and are equipped with cable TV, hairdryers, radio alarm clocks and ample closet space. We offer twin, double, triple and family rooms. One of our guest bedrooms is located on the ground floor for those who may have difficulty with stairs.

Here at St Judes we pride ourselves on traditional Irish country cooking. We use only the freshest ingredients, organic and locally sourced where possible. An extensive breakfast menu is cooked to order and accompanied by our own homemade breads. Light lunches, snacks and picnic lunches are available on request. Dinner is served in the dining room from 7.30pm most evenings.

Complimentary tea/coffee and home-baking await you on arrival. Relax in our residents lounge, enjoy the peaceful setting while being within easy reach of all the attractions. St. Judes has its own secure, off-road car parking, and the local public bus service stops right outside.

Nearby attractions include the best of Galway's pubs, music, restaurants, theatres, cinema and art galleries. There are walking tours of Galway which explore the history of this medieval City. Swimming, (both indoor and outdoor), championship golf courses, tennis, pitch and putt, horse riding, hillwalking and a golf driving range are all located close-by, while salmon and trout fishing can all be found within easy reach, as well as sea angling.

St. Judes is also the ideal base for day trips to explore the fascinating and varied Galway Bay area: the lovely mountains and lakes of Connemara and the Cong and Maam Valley, the Aran Islands, Kylemore Abbey and the National Park, the unique landscape of The Burren and the spectacular Cliffs of Moher.
