Lord Edward

The Lord Edward B&B is located beside a Norman castle in Kildare Town which was, in the thirteenth century, one of the most important castles in Leinster, ranking with the castles at Kilkenny, Carlow and Ferns. The Lord Edward was formerly known as Leinster Lodge prior to its renovation into a B&B offer 18 ensuite guestrooms.

Our property is located off the main M7 motorway, beside the Silken Thomas Bar, Lounge and Chapter 16 Restaurant and offer a secure car park.

Here at The Lord Edward B&B guestrooms are ensuite and come equipped with comforts sucj as tea/coffee making facilities and a television. Upon request special rates can be offered for group bookings.

Attractions located nearby include golf, fishing, the Japanese Gardens and National Stud, Lullymore Heritage & Discovery Park. For those interested in horse racing the famous racecourses of the Curragh, Naas and Punchestown are only 0.5 km from Kildare town where we are located. And for those looking to enjoy some retail therapy the Kildare Chic Outlet Village is located in Kildare town close to the B&B.
