Berkeley House is set in a beautiful Georgian townhouse at the centre of Kilkenny. Nestled on one of the oldest streets, it is the ideal place from which to explore this historic city.
Originally built in the 1600s, Berkeley House acquired its present form in 1774. It was the residence of a number of merchants' families throughout the years, and has been designated a grade 1 listed building. Nowadays, the house offers luxurious bed and breakfast accommodation within walking distance of all the treasures of medieval Kilkenny.
Combining old world charm with modern comfort, each of the 10 guest rooms at Berkeley House is decorated in warm, rich tones and equipped with television, DVD, hairdryers, hospitality trays and free wireless internet access. Beds are dressed in crisp white linens while fluffy towels and complimentary toiletries wait in the en-suite bathrooms.

Car Parking is at the Ormonde Muilty car park. We cover your parking from 6pm to 12 noon the following day. Outside of these hours a fee of €1.50 per hour applies, however guests staying a 2 nights a discounted car park pass for €10.00 can be purchased at the car park. This covers your entire stay and gives you the fexibility to come and go from the car park as you please
