Joan and Stuart Knaggs welcome you to their home, the newly opened Castlefield B&B located just outside Kilkenny centre in a quiet, rural location.
Providing a home away from home in this medieval city, we have spacious rooms with modern facilities and pleasant views of the River Nore. All rooms are tastefully furnished and boast a fresh and light decor. Facilities include large en-suite bathrooms, televisions, free wireless internet access, hairdryers and tea/coffee-making facilities.
Each morning we serve up a delicious continental or full Irish breakfast, included in the rates. We are happy to cater to any special dietary requirements - just let us know before you arrive.
Castlefield B&B is situated just 2.5km from Kilkenny city centre and its attractions, and your friendly hosts will be happy to share their knowledge of the area with you. Visit monuments such as Kilkenny Castle and the Black Abbey, or enjoy a walk in the nearby Slieveardagh Hills. Anglers can do a spot of fishing at the River Nore, while golfers are spoilt for choice with courses including as Kilkenny, Castlecomer, Callan and Mount Juliet all within close proximity. Families are welcome and secure private parking is available.
