It hosts numerous events incorporating various culture through out the year such as theatre, tradational music, and sporting events. letterkenny hosts a busy night life and is the hosting point for the north west donegal rally. take a short drive to many of donegals beauty spots approx 30mins to glenveagh castle national park where you can also visit saint colmcille birth place and the famous artist Derek hill his beloved home and gallery en route. or visit the beautiful ards forest park where wonderland trails await you and go for a swim in the breath taking white sand and turquoise sea.
