Your hosts Edward and Geraldine welcome you to Highfield House, an 18th century residence which has been lovingly restored and stands on elevated grounds with views of Trim Castle and the River Boyne.
Highfield House, at one time a maternity hospital, boasts 7 spacious guest bedrooms, which have been beautifully decorated and enjoy wonderful views of the historic town of Trim. Each room features ensuite bathroom facilities and is equipped with tea & coffee making facilities, a television & DVD player, telephone and hairdryer as well as a radio alarm clock. Additional amenities provided include laundry facilities, a baby-sitting service, free Internet access and secure car parking.
Breakfast at Highfield House is to be savoured, help yourself to a selection of continental items from the buffet table, followed by a choice of cooked items from the extensive menu. After a busy day touring, guests can relax in the well-appointed guest lounge, sit out on the patio areas or wander about our award winning gardens.
Trim is a historic town with plenty to offer, all within easy reach of Highfield House. Trim Castle is right on our doorstep, while Newgrange megalithic tombs, the Boyne Valley and the Hill of Tara are all a short distance away. Try your hand at horse riding, golf, fishing, or sample some local food and drink in one of the great pubs or restaurants.
