I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone and plan on coming back again. The staff here have been so welcoming and helpful in every way- from picking me up from the train station each day, making me tea when I felt unwell, giving me money for the train when I was short, providing a bicycle to help me get around...by the end of my stay it felt like I was at home. The breakfast is delicious and each evening you can opt in for an authentic, home-cooked Italian meal with all the trimmings- I ended up doing every night as it was so good and such good value for money- you couldn't get so much and such high quality at a restaurant here. The location is beautiful and perfect for someone who is looking for a tranquil, village setting. The B&B is a gorgeous renovated old Italian home with warm showers, warm rooms and very clean. It is surrounded by a park and I have seen deer and rabbits wandering around each day. However, if you are looking for a somewhere to give you a great experience of Bologna night life and are travelling alone this might not be for you. I have travelled by train each day into Bologna for the Bologna Children's Book Fair (the trains come every 30mins and it takes only 25mins until you are in the city, cost = 2 euro) but I made sure to travel home before dark as I was by myself. I still found it very easy to get to Bologna and I would urge anyone considering this B&B not to let the location put them off- I have found staying here has been a more holistic experience, allowing me to experience both the city and the village life of Italy.
